Dr. Maximiliano CHAB is the Editor of PUENTES and PONTES publications. Dr. Chab joined ICTSD in 2005 as a Young Professional Officer, Americas Trade Programme. In his current position, he is responsible for the newsgathering, management and overall supervision of four Spanish and Portuguese publications, coordinating the work of partners in Latin America and helping them build their capacities. His work gives voice to an increasing number of stakeholders who otherwise would not be heard in the arena of trade and sustainable development.
Before joining ICTSD, Dr. Chab obtained a law Degree from the University of Buenos Aires and then worked as Attorney in Commercial Law in Argentina for three years before doing a PhD in Economic Law and taking up a fellowship at the Centre for International Environmental Law (CIEL), Geneva Office. Dr. Chab is a citizen of Argentina.
