Valentina HARTI is the Project Accountant at ICTSD where she is responsible for promoting the long term financial viability of ICTSD by strengthening project management culture and facilitating positive relationships with ICTSD’s donors. Before joining ICTSD, Ms. Harti worked for the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) where she provided fund management assistance, negotiated and conducted capacity-building projects in Central and Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia.
Previously she was a Co-ordination Officer and also an Advisor in the Ministry of Environment of Moldova with responsibility for promoting co-operation in environmental protection, strategic planning and reporting. Ms. Harti holds an M.N.S. from the State University of Moldova, a diploma in International Environmental Law from UNITAR and a Project Management Certificate from the University of Geneva. Valentina also has a D Certificate from the International Project Management Association. She is of joint Swiss and Moldovan nationality.
