Reasons for such an imbalance can be found in the difference in trade composition, volume of trade, income levels, aid levels, and legal capacity between active and inactive members. In order to favor the participation of weaker partners in the DSU system, the paper introduces two interesting potential scenarios, using an economic model, in which LDCs would take collective action to overcome this problem.
